-So the four things that you have to include is what we do, how we do it, whom we do it for, and what value are we bringing? OK, so as a lesson nugget for principle number 1, OK, clearly and succinctly articulate what products or services your company offers. You have to include that in your mission statement.

The second principle-- how do we do it-- a lesson nugget for that is clearly and succinctly articulate how your company offers a value to the marketplace. So--

-I know you hate when I do this, but I'm going to see if you can google this, if you do this real quick here. If you could pull up the lyrics to "This Is How We Do" by The Game. And I think it was 50 Cent and The Game working together in kind of a combo, a rare show of unity.

But if you could just read some of those lyrics real quick to demonstrate. I just want to end with that. Because I this is the kind of notable quotable that the soccer moms want right now. And I'm given it to you. I'm not-- if you're a soccer mom, you know what I'm saying. I want to read these lyrics to you succinctly so you'll know exactly what The Game is talking about. And that way, you'll feel more enriched as you head into this next training.

MARSHALL MORRIS: For all of the Thrivers that are following along-- "This Is How We Do," not "This Is How We Do It" by Montel Jordan.

CLAY CLARK: Totally different songs.

-Totally, totally different.

CLAY CLARK: It's very offensive if you confuse them.

-OK, so I'm going to read it. This is going to be a new segment on these Thrive trainings. It's read lyrics, you know, from a Caucasian.

CLAY CLARK: The Caucasians sensation. Bring it.

-Here we go. "This is how we do. We make a move and act a fool while we up in the club. This is how we do. Nobody do it like we do it. So show us some love."

CLAY CLARK: Please go a little bit slower. My mind's trying to process this amazing lyrical miracle. Keep going.

-OK, "Fresh like uh-huh. Impala uh-huh, chrome hydraulics, 808 drums."

CLAY CLARK: Oh, 808 drums. Soccer moms are going what is that? It's a Roland device used to make a beat that have a deep base. Keep going, just a little more. And then it'll be good.

-"When beef is on, I'll pop that trunk."

-Wait, wait-- "when beef is on" that means when he's upset, he'll "pop the trunk."

-I'm trying to find appropriate segments of this song.

CLAY CLARK: OK, no, no. Read the inappropriate ones too and just sort of make little filler words.

-"since red rum, ready here I come, Compton uh, Dre found me in the slums."

-Slums. Oh, Dre found him in the slums. Sick. Dr. Dre-- that's the guy who invented the Beats headphones. He actually didn't invent them. He licensed them and just sold them to Apple.

-OK, business moves right there.

CLAY CLARK: That's right. So anyway, I just wanted to break it down for you and a good example of someone who knows their niche, they know their audience, our good friend, The Game.

-Thank you for empowering me to expand my career with reading The Game lyrics. I appreciate that.

-Not a problem.

-OK, so principle number 4, what value are we bringing? Clearly and succinctly, articulate how your company uniquely offers value to your ideal and likely buyers. That's the fourth cornerstone that we need to include for creating a mission statement.

-Is there any way you can play "This Is How We Do" as we leave? Is that possible? I know it's possible. I know there's-- now, if your with Thrive right now and you don't want to stick around for the playing of this, you don't have to. But I just wanted to-- I'm just testing are our main man Marshall, our 6' 8" of great, to see if he can play it.

Because this will get stuck in your head. Are we ready for it? Are you ready? OK, are you getting it? Are you getting it? Oh, nice. Here we go. There we go. Just kind of crank it up a little bit. And then Thrivers, we'll check you out for our next episode.

We're going to be talking about how to articulate your mission. But just kind of get that little-- there it is. Just kind of a little bit loud right there. Many Thrivers right now are-- they want-- there we go. So if you're watching, right now, all across the planet or other planets stick around. Up next how to articulate your mission. Oh yeah. Yes. This is true. Marshall you're beautiful.

-Thank you for joining us.
