Lesson Nugget: It's very hard to sell a product to customers if they do not trust you.
Lesson Nugget: It's hard to steer a parked bus, you must get moving.
-How does your landing page or your shopping cart perform? Is it coded correctly? Does it load fast enough? All those kinds of things.
Your niche, obviously, as usual, do you have established relationship or trust? If you don't have that, for most products it's very tricky to get a sale. It's an uphill battle unless it's a product where it's an impulse buy.
People see an ad and say, oh, yeah. That's absolutely what I need. I'm going to buy it right there.
-Like, if it's like a flat screen and it's a certain model and it's a certain big discount, maybe people are more impulse driven.
-You know, that kind of thing.
-Exactly. It you don't have to educate them really about what you want to do, if you don't have to build that trust, if you already have that trust because you're a brand name, it might work better this way.
Targeting, I recommend to target custom audiences and fans again, because they already know you or should know you. Well, that's it. Go get them.
-Well, let me ask this. For people that want to learn more about you and what you do, where can they find you online?
-Oh, where can they find me online? The easiest way-- let me pull up the next slide-- my personal Twitter handle is HinterP. That's how we would say it in German. It's spelled H-I-N-T-E-R-P as you can see on the screen. Or you can just-- it might be easier-- target All Stages Marketing. All Stages M-K-T-G for marketing or go to allstagesmarketing.com.
-Thrivers, all conspiracy theories aside, in all sincerity Facebook can be a very, very, very powerful tool to help you get your products and services in front of your ideal and likely buyers, your potential customers. But the only way to really find out how good you are at the game is to get in the game.
So I might recommend you get started. You go through this-- go through this training maybe once or twice. And I would begin to market your products and services.
And maybe just set a monthly budget and say, I'm going to spend $100 this month and just see how good I can get or how much success I can have. And then once you begin to have little small successes, then you can begin to scale that. You can say, well, this worked well when I spent $100.
If I can spend $200, I can do more. If I spend $400, I can do more. And then you can begin to say, if that worked I'll do a little bit more of that. But I would recommend you start small, and try to figure out what works before you begin to scale and put a whole bunch of money and resources into things. Would you agree?
-Absolutely. And this is the beautiful thing about Facebook advertising. You can really start with a very small budget and just go out , play with it, have fun with it. I hope you're successful. If you have questions, let us know.
-Hey, I appreciate you being here , my friend. Thank you so much.
